Speaker Introduction:

Prof.HE Jishan, applied geophysicist, Member of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Professor and former President of Central South University, and life member of the American Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG). He is also an adviser of Calligraphers Association of Hunan Province.

Prof.He Jishan advocates the integration of science, technology, engineering and art. His favorites are calligraphy and couplets and he has significant artistic attainments in seal script, clerical script, regular script, running script and grass script .He also has deep friendship with scholars of the calligraphy circles. He actively advocates Calligraphy and Humanities Education. He also emphasizes on innovation and has formed his own characteristics in both Chinese and English calligraphy.
