CUHK (SZ) Participating SIFCUL

     On November 17, the opening ceremony of Shenzhen International Friendship-City University League (SIFCUL) was held in Wu Zhou Guest House. 27 universities, from both local and abroad, including 17 foreign universities from 12 countries of 5 continents, joined the league together.

        CUHK (SZ), one of the leading universities initiated the League, vows to help promote sustainable academic exchange and cooperation, to enhance intercollegiate  mutual trust and friendship among the member universities, and to build a platform for cooperation and learning with each other in the field of education, technology and culture. The league will bring into full play the unique characters and strengths of member universities, promoting resource sharing, create win-win partnerships for league member and making use of advanced knowledge and expertise of member universities to promote sustainable development of higher education.

       Following the SIFCUL opening ceremony there was an international education forum entitled “Higher Education in the Online Age”, beginning with a keynote speech by Prof. Xu Yangsheng, President of CUHK (SZ). Educational elites and experts shared their opinion on hot topics such as education patterns and MOOC, etc.
