University Presidents Roundtable cum the 5th National Meeting on Sino-Foreign Cooperative Higher Education was Held in CUHK(SZ) from November 9th to November 11th.
Jointly sponsored by the Study Aboard Service Center, MOE, Xiamen University’s Research Center of Sino-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools, Shenzhen Education Bureau and China Association of Higher Education(In consideration), the conference attracted over 400 people, including Ariech Warshel, Nobel laureate in chemistry, Professor Ruth Hayhoe from Department of Leadership, Higher & Adult Education, University of Toronto, department heads from the Education Department and International Cooperation Department of Guangdong Province. About 50 presidents from Chinese and foreign universities, together with experts of Sino-foreign cooperative education projects, were also among the guests.
25 academicians and presidents gave presentations on relevant issues, such as topics including Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools and talents cultivation.
During the conference in CUHK(SZ), guests from universities worldwide toured the CUHK (SZ) campus with great interest, warmly applauded for its beautiful scene and its international educational environment.
