Enrollment completed, with over 313 Students Entering School

After making significant progress in fields of talent introduction, curriculum provision, campus construction, academic and cultural exchanges, etc., CUHK (SZ) welcomed the first batch of more than 300 students for the academic year of 2014.
After making significant progress in fields of talent introduction, curriculum provision, campus construction, academic and cultural exchanges, etc., CUHK (SZ) welcomed the first batch of more than 300 students for the academic year of 2014. The School of Economics and Management of CUHK (SZ) enrolled students from 17 provinces nation-wide, including Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangxi, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Guangxi, Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan and Guangdong. 

Overall, the enrollment is successful and the students with admission represent a high quality of the kind. Most of the enrolled students are ranked the top 1%, in terms of college entrance examination, of the provinces they are from. The integrated quality of the enrolled students are high as well, as many of them entered CUHK (SZ) with prizes they won from national academic competitions of all kinds. CUHK (SZ) provides scholarships and academic aids to stdents in need. This year alone, there are 75 students received scholarships of many kinds recognizing their outstanding academic scores; seven students, among a number of more than 40 students from poor families, received scholarship with tuition-waive. And there are also another 3 with tuition fee half-waived. In addition, 3 students from extremely poor families have been granted tuition waive for their whole 4 academic years.
