Visit of University of Cologne

Mr. Christoph Sonnenschein, Director for International Relations Center and Ms. Ulrike M. Decker, Coordinator for Academic Short Programs New York and Hong Kong of Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences, University of Cologne (UoC), visited CUHK-Shenzhen on 2 April 2019.

Mr. Christoph Sonnenschein, Director for International Relations Center and Ms. Ulrike M. Decker, Coordinator for Academic Short Programs New York and Hong Kong of Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences, University of Cologne (UoC), visited CUHK-Shenzhen on 2 April 2019.

 

The purpose of the visit was to discuss the implementation of the customized summer program of by the School of Management and Economics (SME) to UoC in the upcoming August, and to explore other potential collaboration between the two universities. The guests were received by Prof. Michael Ferguson, Senior Associate Dean of SME, Dr. Lawrence Khoo, Assistant Dean of SME and other representatives from SME and Office of Academic Links.

Established in 1388, University of Cologne is one of the leading German research universities. Its six faculties offer an exceptionally broad and diverse subject base and encourage students to follow their own academic interests. This 3- week customized summer program offered by SME will receive 16 postgraduate students from UoC this August.
