Visit of Cornell University

Prof. Shane G. Henderson, Director of the School of Operations Research and Information Engineering (ORIE), College of Engineering, visited CUHK-Shenzhen on 1 June 2019 and discussed with staffs from Office of Academic Links on collaboration opportunities in the combined BS-MS/PhD arrangement and student exchange program.

Founded in 1865, Cornell University is a private and statutory Ivy League research university in Ithaca, New York. Cornell is ranked 14th in QS Global World Ranking. The university is organized into seven undergraduate colleges and seven graduate divisions at its main Ithaca campus. Cornell’s College of Engineering has been ranked one of the top seven engineering programs in the nation by U.S. News and World Report. There are 14 department and schools in the College of Engineering. The ORIE program ranks 4th in the nation.
