Professor Jinhua Ye is the Principal Investigator of the International Center for Materials Nanoarchitectonics in Japan National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), the Adjunct Professor of the School of Chemistry, Hokkaido University, and the Director of the Tianjin University-NIMS Joint Research Center. In 2016, she was elected as the Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. In addition, she is a member of the Photochemical Professional Committee of the China Renewable Energy Society. Professor Jinhua Ye received her BSc from Zhejiang University, and her Master and PhD from the University of Tokyo respectively. Professor Jinhua Ye's main research field is the development of new photocatalytic materials and relevant applications in solar chemical conversion and environmental purification. She has served in several international academic journals, including RSC Catalysis Science & Technology and Scientific Reports. Professor Jinhua Ye has applied for more than 30 patents, of which more than 10 items have been authorized in Japan and 5 have been authorized in China. She has published more than 450 papers in internationally renowned journals such as Nature and Nature Materials. She has received numerous honours, including the National Outstanding Young Scholars Fund, the Winners of the China National Team's National Thousand Talents Program, and Thomson Reuters' 2016 Highly Cited Researchers.
