The Path of Piano——Sharing Session and Master Class Featuring Tony Yang
He is the youngest winner of Chopin International Competition; awarded with Van Cliburn International Piano Competition “Jury Prize”; pianist with excellent academic achievement at Harvard University.
His performance is full of “magnificent talent”, artistic inspiration and amazing power, commented by Marthar Argerich, a leading expert on piano. International piano master Cong Fu regarded him as a pianist with talents and spirits. Additionally, he is also considered as an outstanding pianist by a well-known Chinese piano educator Zhe Tang.
He is Tony Yike Yang.
Tony Yang has performed with internationally renowned orchestras since he was 12 years old, and at the age of 15, he performed Tchaikovsky: Piano Concerto No.1 with the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra, which was a great success. His piano performance is known as "Magic Sound" by music critics and fans.
On January 12th, Tony Yang will come to CUHK(SZ) to bring us a great classical-music activity!

Student Performers :
Tianyang Lu is a third year undergraduate student from Diligentia College and majors in translation in the School of Humanity and Social Science, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. He has learned playing the piano since he was 6 years old. He made achievements by taking part in various piano competitions, such as the Zhujiang National Piano Competition, the Berzina International Piano Competition and etc. Additionally, he was the director of the Piano Department, Music Union during the year of 2018 and 2019.
Natasha Celia is a first year undergraduate student from Harmonia College and majors in the School of Management and Economics, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen and a cellist in the CUHK(SZ) orchestra. She was born in Indonesia and started to play piano since the age of 4. Ever since, she completed ABRSM Piano Examination of Grade 8 with high distinction and won various competitions. At the age of 12, she played Mozart Piano Concerto. In 2017 and 2018, she won the first prize of LCM piano competition in Surabaya.
