Brief Introduction of the Guest: Lin Zheng is the Associate Professor and a tutor for postgraduate students from the Department of Chinese, Sun Yat-sen University. She holds a bachelor and a doctorate degree from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, Peking University as well as a doctorate degree from the Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations, Harvard University. She has been visiting scholar at National Tsing Hua University, University of Cambridge, Humboldt -- Universitat zu Berlin and other overseas universities. Lin Zheng was once a lecturer at the School of Humanities and Social Science, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. She is devoted to the study on modern and contemporary Chinese literature and urban culture and has published more than 20 papers in core journals such as Literary Review, Journal of Chinese Literature and History, and Modern Chinese Literature Studies.
