Department Introduction

Our Mission:

To plan, design, construct, and maintain a campus that caters to the needs of students and staff, operates efficiently in a cost-effective manner, and with unique characteristics and a long history.

 

Our responsibilities:

  • As the representative and deputy department of campus constructions, fully in charge of planning, designing, constructing, and maintaining all the technical, management, and coordination work throughout projects, to ensure comprehensive functioning, adequate quality, investment control, and punctual project delivery;
  • To be responsible for the projects’ construction, reconstruction, and maintenance in the campus and relevant work including initiating a new project to the government or University, applying for the investment budget, designing critical reviews, supervising the construction, carrying out the construction check and acceptance and so on;
  •  To be responsible for the construction work of re-investment projects after the project delivery, for instance the furniture configuration and laboratory renovation;
  • To coordinate with the government’s investment department, construction planning department, project management department and the University’s partners for the pursuit of the maximum benefit for the University;    
  • To coordinate with the University’s various departments and satisfy their needs in teaching, working, and doing research, as well as students’ activity and living demands; after fully collecting and hearing others’ ideas, to try to provide the University with efficient hardware facilities and services;
  • To build a professional, diligent and responsible, honest and efficient team;
  • To be responsible for all other matters related to the construction projects.
