Campus Integrated Design:

The planning concept encompasses mountains, forests and courtyards.  Adjusting to the local conditions is central to the designing philosophy, which fully takes advantage of the mountains’ natural height differences, integrating the architecture with the natural landscape to incorporate Chinese elements and the sense of magnificence. This design is coherent with that in The Chinese University of Hong Kong and expresses the regional character—the Lingnan Culture. The integration of architecture with nature, the modern architectural style with the Lingnan style, renders the essence of The Chinese University of Hong Kong—combining tradition with modernity.
