New Summer Schools Available
The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (“University”) has concluded summer school agreements with the University of California, Berkeley (“UC Berkeley”) and the London School of Economics and Political Science (“LSE”). Under these schemes, The University will send undergraduate students to these two institutions to attend summer study programs from 2016. No TOEFL or IELTS scores are required as the University’s medium of instruction is English.
UC Berkeley is one of the most prestigious universities in the world and enjoys a quite high reputation for its academic excellence. Its engineering, science, arts and social sciences are all top-ranked disciplines in the world. The school also has a great many world renowned academic masters. Its summer program offers more than 600 courses, covering various disciplines. Every year more than 16,000 exchange students from around the world take part in their semester or summer courses.
LSE is one of the G5 Elite universities (other members being Imperial College London, the London School of Economics, the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford and University College London) and one of the top schools dedicating teaching and research to sociology, politics and economics. It is leading the way in law, economics, international relations, politics, anthropology, sociology, social psychology, and social policy. Its summer school started as early as in 1989. The 2016 summer school will offer programs in accounting, finance, economics, English language, international relation, law, and business management.
