Speaker’s Profile:

Dr. HUANG Guoping graduated from The National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition at the Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is a senior researcher at AI Lab of Tencent. His research interests include machine translation, natural language processing, and human-machine interactive machine translation.

Abstract:

The research on machine translation has made great progress in recent years. The quality of translation has been continuously improved, and it has been put into practice in some specific fields. How to combine machine translation with computer-aided translation to further improve the efficiency? The speaker will talk about the main problems in the process of developing human-computer interactive machine translation.
