Abstract:
Virtual reality (VR) is becoming an everyday technology as a new support platform for various industries. The trend of VR+ will be inevitable. As a disruptive technology, VR will diminish the boundary of the real world and virtual world, and turn the world into a new one which is mixed of virtuality and reality. VR will become a new means for people to observe, experience and transform the world.
This lecture will introduce the application of virtual reality in military, manufacturing, aerospace, healthcare, education, sports, and culture through video clips, demonstrate how VR+ supports various industries and predict the trends of VR development and potential growth points for the technology.
