一、参观DAB啤酒工厂博物馆 Visiting the Dortmunder Actien Brauerei Museum
本届世界杯开赛前，德国男足的西班牙语推特账号Selección Alemana曾发送推文，披露德国队在出征时自带了18000公升啤酒、700公斤香肠和300公斤土豆。虽然网友们纷纷调侃“要在冬天前抵达俄罗斯”的二战梗，但大家依然切实地感受到了德国人民对于啤酒的深沉的爱。（当然了，大家也都很关心德国小组赛爆冷出局后这些啤酒香肠和土豆都是怎么处理的。）
According to the Spanish Twitter account for German national football team, the team brought 18,000 litres of beers with them to defend the World Cup Trophy. Although the first direct result of this news is that the punchline regarding Germany and Russia during World War II has gained an immense popularity, people are still impressed by the passionate German love towards beer (and of course, are wondering how the beers were dealt after Germany unexpectedly crashed out in the group phase).

而提到德国啤酒，就不得不提多特蒙德这个城市。多特蒙德一度是德国最重要的钢铁、煤矿和啤酒酿造产业中心之一，在整个欧洲都以啤酒出产地而闻名。而在二战中，多特蒙德是被轰炸次数最多的城市之一，市中心超过98%的建筑物被炸毁。重建后，城市发展重心由重工业转向高新技术产业，啤酒酿造业也受到了这种结构调整的影响，市内啤酒厂数目大幅减少，产量相比起啤酒生产的黄金时期也有所下滑。
When it comes to German beers, one cannot fail to mention the city Dortmund. Once served as one of the national industrial centres of coaling, steeling, and brewing, Dortmund is well known for its beer production over the whole Europe. However, the city suffered from intense bombing during WWII, and 98% of the inner city buildings were destroyed. After the reconstruction, the focus of Dortmund shifted from heavy industries to the high-tech ones, which has also exerted effects on its beer brewing. The numbers of breweries in the city sharply dropped, accompanied with a declined total production.
但是如今的多特蒙德依然在德国啤酒行业中仍然占据极其重要的位置。本次参观的DAB（Dortmunder Actien Brauerei）是一个经典的德国啤酒品牌，前东德领导人Erich Honecker也是其忠实粉丝。在完成对Kronen和Hansa公司的收购后，目前市面上常见的啤酒品牌均归属于DAB。啤酒博物馆就建在DAB工厂园区内部。参观过程中，导览人员详细介绍了多特蒙德啤酒业的发展历程。此外，还带领大家进入工厂，亲身体验啤酒酿造的每一道工序。最后，大家品尝对比了四款不同的多特蒙德啤酒，载兴而归。
Nevertheless, Dortmund still plays a vital role in the German beer industry. DAB (Dortmunder Actien Brauerei) is a traditional beer brand, and the former leader of East Germany, Erich Honecker, was also a great fan of it. After finishing the acquirement of two other breweries, Kronen and Hansa, DAB owns most of the brands in the German beer market today. The museum is located in the industrial park, next to the breweries. During the tour, the guide introduced the development history of Dortmund beers and showed the detailed procedures of beer brewing. After experiencing the brewing process in the factory, we finished the tour by a delighting flavour tasting of four kinds of Dortmund beers.
二、50周年校庆音乐会 Music Concert for the 50th Anniversary
今年恰逢TUDO建校五十周年，一系列的庆祝活动令人眼花缭乱。例如，7月4日晚上八点，在学校的Audimax礼堂内举办了校庆主题的小型音乐会。
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the foundation of TUDO, and thus a series of celebrating events are promoted. For instance, at 8pm on July 4th, a concert is held at Audimax, the school assembly hall.
三、夏日狂欢节Sommerfest (Summer Festival)
夏天是尽情释放激情的季节。在一年一度的Sommerfest上，有乐队表演，有游戏体验，更有各式各样的美食档口，玩得过瘾，吃得尽兴。摊位顺着校园主干道一路绵延，若和三两好友一起闲逛玩耍，尤能感受夏日的独特魅力。
Summer is doubtless a season of passion. On the annual TUDO Sommerfest (German phrase for summer festival), one can fully enjoy the tremendous funs brought by live bands, relaxing games, and tasty snacks. The booths are located all along the main road, and it is an exhilarating as well as enjoyable experience to visit the festival with several friends.
