Notice of postponement of 2020 NSFC programs applcation and conclusion
To support the precautionary measures of preventing the spread of 2019-nCoV, the following adjustments about 2020 NSFC programs application and conclusion have been made in accordance with the notice of NSFC.
1. Application
a. Deadline postponement.
Applicants should upload the attachments and submit online application forms by April 7, 2020(only for program types of 2020 concentrated reception). After submission, the RAO will conduct formal examination and feedback. Applicants shall submit the revisory application forms (if any) by April 10, 2020.
b. Paperless application.
Those program types which application deadline before May 31,2020 will be overall incorporated into paperless application. In process of the submission, applicants shall only submit the online application and the attachments, without having to submit a hard copy.
c. Front-line researchers for epidemic prevention.
Researchers who are working in the frontline of anti-epidemic can apply to RAO for deferred submission of online application by April 10, 2020. After verified by NSFC, the online application entry will be reopen for these recorded front-line researchers in due course(only for program types of 2020 concentrated reception).
2. Project conclusion
The deadline of concluding report submission has been prolonged to April 9, 2020 for funds which end on December 31, 2019. PI shall only submit the electronic concluding report online, without having to submit a hard copy temporarily(the specific date of hard copy submission shall be waited for the further notice of NSFC).
