Review of Shaw Freshmen’s Check-in | Our First Encounter is as Vivid as Yesterday

On August 28-29, more than 2,000 freshmen from all around the world gathered in CUHK (SZ). Shaw College warmly received 691 new members, and arranged six dormitory towers for them to settle. Vice President Prof. Zhu Shiping, Vice President Mr. Qi Jianwei, Associate Vice President Prof. Gu Yang, Dean of Shaw College Prof. Jenny Leung, along with teachers from the College Office, together greeted the freshmen at the front desk of each tower.

The 4th Shaw College Tutor Training Session Has Come to a Successful End

In 2019, when the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) welcomed a batch of ‘Millennium’ freshmen, Shaw College also welcomed a newly-energized tutor team. Enthusiastic, considerate towards students, tutors are always the first persons to turn to when students encounter problems at school.

Activity Review| Shaw College wish you Happy Dragon Boat Festival

‘Aiye’ (艾叶, a traditional Chinese medicine which is called ‘Folium Artemisiae Argyi’) and reed leaves are the essential elements that represent the Dragon Boat Festival. Given this special occasion, Shaw College, along with Shaw College Canteen invited over 80 teachers and students to DIY ‘Zongzi (rice dumpling)’ under the instruction from the professional canteen staff in order to have a glimpse of this traditional Chinese festival.

Our Graduate Season | Shaw College Successfully Held the 2019 Graduation Luncheon

After the graduation ceremony of CUHKSZ, Shaw College subsequently prepared a warm lunch and delicate graduation souvenirs for both the graduates and their families. Prof. Janny Leung, Master of Shaw College, said in the luncheon speech that Shaw College is always the second home for graduates and we all expect everyone to come back frequently.
