Abstract:

Speaking of Ms. Zhu Xun, we will think of the beautiful and elegant CCTV hostess with her humorous and witty talking style. But we may not know her as “Xiao Xiao”, “A Xun”, “Mr. Zhu”, “Bold Zhu”... At the age of 15, Ms. Zhu Xun took part in the first film Rock Kids in her life, and began her acting career. When she was 17 years old, she went to Japan to pursue a degree alone on a work-study basis. During this period, she did part-time jobs as a cleaner and dishwasher. She was also once evicted by the landlord, even threatened by scoundrels... After 10 years’ studying and working in Japan, Ms. Zhu, the only Chinese lady having regular programs in several major Japanese TV stations, decided to return to China so as to take care of her parents. At the age of 26, although she was admitted to CCTV with the top grade of the batch, Ms. Zhu was suspended from the screen because of rumors in the public. Instead of flinching, she finally stood on the screen through her efforts. However, as her career picked up, fate played another joke on her in 2006. Ms. Zhu was diagnosed with a thyroid tumor and hospitalized, triggering all sorts of rumors about her illness. Despite those pains and difficulties, Ms. Zhu Xun is still shining like a star. She is not only an outstanding and hard-working TV program hostess, but also an excellent wife, mother and daughter-in-law in her family. This time, Ms. Zhu Xun will share her new book A Xun with the warmest and delicate words, talking about her ups and downs, diligent spirits and arduous efforts. This April, let’s open A Xun to know more about Ms. Zhu Xun.
