To help the fresh undergraduates to better embrace the campus life, the School of Humanities and Social Science has prepared a Series of Lectures since 2017, namely 10 Lectures for a Fresh Undergraduate @ HSS.

In this lecture, Dr. Bradley W. Hall, Senior Advisor of Huawei Human Resources, will share his perspectives on the Topic Finding the Right Job-Fit.

About the Speaker:

For the past seven years, Dr. Hall has served as Senior Advisor to Huawei’s Chief HR Officer.  Previous to Huawei, Dr. Hall was in charge of leadership and organization effectiveness for 18 countries in IBM Asia Pacific (1/3 of IBM’s total global business). During his time at IBM, he was assigned as special advisor to the CEO of Lenovo after it purchased IBM Personal Computer.  This was China’s first large scale acquisition of a western company.  At Lenovo, he designed the new organization structure and the new corporate culture for the newly combined company.Before IBM, Dr. Hall was head of HR and Training for AT&T Global Services.

Dr. Hall published The New Human Capital Strategy (2009) and has written more than 80 articles on management innovation. He has also been an instructor for Duke University Corporate Education (Duke CE).

Dr. Hall earned his PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology with a focus on overseas management practices of Japanese companies.
