Oracle bones are inscriptions on ox scapula or turtle plastron in Shang Dynasty (16th-11th century B.C.). With nearly thirty years effort, Professor Huang Qiyi finished two books with 1.4 million chinese characters-- The Wilderness of History and Criticism on the Research of Shang and Zhou Dynasties.
