CUHK-Shenzhen School of Management and Economics Introduced PhD Programmes (Economics, Finance)

CUHK-Shenzhen School of Management and Economics introduced two PhD Programmes (Economics, Finance) for students who wish to pursue a higher degree in these two areas. The programmes could also educate and cultivate research talents for universities and research institutes. Applicants should have bachelor degree or above qualifications. Students who satisfy prescribed requirements will receive degree of The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
The PhD Programme in Economics has research focus in microeconomic theory, applied microeconomics, financial economics, international economics, industrial organization, behavioural economics, and related domains.
The PhD Programme in Finance has research focus in asset pricing, corporate finance, and related domains.
During the study period, students could receive various kinds of scholarship and fellowship for paying tuition fee or other necessary living expenses.

Application Requirements
The applicant should have bachelor degree or above qualification with good results, has taken the GRE General test or GMAT test, has fulfilled 'English Language Proficiency Requirement’, and has good foundation in mathematics or statistics.

Application deadline
We have started receiving application for admission in 2019. Recruitment assessment and interview will be arranged on or after Feb 15, and with admission notices to follow. Application deadline is April 1. To increase the chance of admission, applicant is advised to submit application early.
