Osaka University visited CUHK-Shenzhen

Prof. Masayuki Murata, Dean of Graduate School of Information Science and Technology (IST), Prof. Tatsuhiro Tsuchiya and Prof. Bettina Wutzl, representatives of IST from Osaka University visited The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen on 22 October 2019.

Prof. Masayuki Murata, Dean of Graduate School of Information Science and Technology (IST), Prof. Tatsuhiro Tsuchiya and Prof. Bettina Wutzl, representatives of IST from Osaka University visited The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen on 22 October 2019.

 

The visitors were warmly received by Prof. Shiping Zhu, Vice President for External and Student Affairs of CUHK-Shenzhen. Prof. Jianwei Huang, Associate Dean of School of Science and Engineering (SSE), Prof. Yan Zhou, Co-Chair of SSE Global Affairs Committee, Mr. Paul Ke, Director of Academic Links met with the guests and discussed about the potential collaboration in short-term research student exchange, faculty sharing and co-supervised PhD program.

 

 

 

Besides, a research talk given by Prof. Tsuchiya and Prof. Wutzl was held in Teaching Building A, regarding the educational philosophy, research fields and achievements of Osaka University IST.
