Upcoming Event | Training on Etiquette and Table Manners
The High Table Dinner originated in Europe, spreading widely to other places, it has gradually become the tradition of Oxford, Cambridge and other prestigious institutions. Nowadays, most of the universities in Europe and the United States followed this tradition. Participants in the high table dinner party shall comply with strict dress code and conform to the norms of etiquette standard so as to cultivate elegant social manners. Before the high table dinner on 25th November, Diligentia college will hold a high table dinner etiquette training this Friday afternoon. We are honored to invite Ms. Mary Cheung, former Miss Hong Kong, Hong Kong Ten Outstanding Women and the President of the Professional Image and International Etiquette Institute. She is going to teach you how to shine your glamorous elegance in the dinner party.

The High Table Dinner etiquette training is a University wide activity. All Year 1 students are expected to be present at the training, and students from other grades are all welcome.In addition, we are preparing for a seating plan of the High Table Dinner, and will put a customized name card of each participants on the seat, so please remember submit your information before 14:00 PM, Thursday, 17th November. If you are not able to attend, we’d be grateful if you could reply to this email directly with the subject of “Name+ Student No.+ Reasons of Absence”.
