President Xu's Greetings to graduates

In May 2018, President of CUHK-Shenzhen, Xu Yangsheng met our graduates and their families in the office. The graduate, Gilbert Li, gave President Xu a gift to extend his heartfelt gratitude for our university. Meanwhile, President Xu also expressed his expectations to the graduates.

President Xu's greetings to Graduates:

It is not easy for you to come to this stage. It is difficult to achieve your dream. I have witnessed your growth personally and professionally. First of all, you should feel grateful to your parents, to the university and feel grateful to our colleagues, your classmates and teachers, who have led you during the journey. You should also be grateful to our community as our government has supported us a lot. Secondly, when you are young, do not choose to stay in your comfort zone. This is just the beginning. Nowadays, people can pursue an easy life. Some can even have luxury life. But we need to have dream and passion. So, do not choose to stay in your comfort zone. Choose to take challenges while you are still young. It is time to fight, not to relax.
