“Go Sunny, Be Green” ——Running with Wu Yee Sun College in CUHK
The school tour running is a traditional activity of the Wu Yee Sun College. At the invitation of Wu Yee Sun College, this year the representatives of the teachers and students of Diligentia College also came to the CUHK to participate in it. At the opening ceremony, students of Diligentia College were registered as athletes. Our athletes represented the “College Group”, and together with the students from CUHK, they ran from the starting point of the gate of Wu Yee Sun College.

Our athletes represented the “College Group”, and together with the students from CUHK, they ran from the starting point of the gate of Wu Yee Sun College.
The CUHK is built on the hillside and the terrain is undulating. It is difficult to run under such circumstances. The students of CUHK had long experience and showed amazing endurance and excellent explosiveness. However, the performance of our students in the College was also as good. Despite the unfamiliar terrain and the unsatisfactory physical condition of some students, they not only finished the whole process, but also achieved good results. The game was fierce, interesting and exciting. After the students from Wu Yee Sun College firstly hit the line and secured the championship, our students followed closely. In the end, Zhao Kangran won the third place of the men’s invitation tournament, and Ouyang Ying and Zhang Mingxin won the third place of the women’s invitation tournament.
During the competition, the teachers and students of Diligentia College had a friendly conversation with the Dean, the teachers and the students of Wu Yee Sun College. The teachers of Diligentia College prepared exquisite gifts – the “Wu Yee Sun College Papercut” and the Diligentia College uniform of class 2022 for Wu Yee Sun College. It was not only a present for the College’s anniversary, but also a symbol of the friendship between the two Colleges. During the lunch break, they had lunch in the dining hall together to experience the delicious food of Wu Yee Sun College. Later, the chairman of the Resident Student Association also enthusiastically led everyone to visit a series of college facilities and gave a detailed introduction. After visiting the College, everyone visited the famous attractions of CUHK, such as “Heaven and Man”, Million Avenue and Beacon Tower.
The school tour running was a successful attempt to the communication between the two Colleges and a symbol of friendship between the two sides. It is hoped that the two Colleges in the future will have more exchanges and cooperation, and carry out more and more exciting activities for the students of the two places.

On the windy and sunny morning on Friday, we set foot on the bus to CUHK. The friends of the Resident Student Association of Wu Yee Sun College, waiting for us to arrive, had already prepared everything of the school tour running activities. From the meticulous process, material preparation to the participation of the students, the construction of Wu Yee Sun College was really doing very well. However, the mountain roads in CUHK were really rugged. The athletes of Wu Yee Sun College were really excellent! I hope that in the next round of school tour runing, the students of Diligentia College can be even better!

This was the first time I visited the College in CUHK in details, I also found many interesting facilities in the Wu Yee Sun College. The C!ub was like the CIDE of our school, but it was mainly for the students of the College to create handicraft, such as the plastic crusher designed by the students themselves. There was a wooden board at the door of the dormitory of Wu Yee Sun College. The activities of the College would be put on the propaganda page on the door. If the students were interested, they could stick it on the wooden board next to the door. The building platform of the college had specially designed tables and chairs. You could make the most of your space. I hope that in the future Diligentia College could be decorated more and more fashionable. In addition, the athletes in the Diligentia College were excellent!

This was not only the first time I went to Sha Tin, but also the first time I went to Hong Kong. The overall experience was very good. Although we might have some obstacles in communication because of the language, the resonance generated was linked to each other. It was also during this school tour running that I was able to at my best. I hope that the friendship between Diligentia College and Wu Yee Sun Academy would last forever!
