Mission Statement
Deliver quality HR service to attract, develop, motivate and retain a diverse and qualified workforce in support of the academic mission and the university community.
The Human Resources Office is responsible for the following personnel and training functions:
1. Establish and review annual manpower budget of the University to meet the staffing needs of the university;
2. Select, recruit and appoint quality teaching and non-teaching staff according to established appointment procedures;
3. Administer, manage and review compensation and benefit schemes with the view on the labour market changes and government regulations;
4. Monitor the performance appraisal, staff promotion and staff disciplinary process to ensure internal equity and fairness;
5. Design and implement staff training and development programs according to annual training need analysis;
6. Establish and implement policies and guidelines to ensure complete compliance of the laws, regulations and practices of China.
