2019 Special Lecture : The Life study way from experimental animal to the cells

Speaker's Biography:

Dr. Chi-Wen Li, is assistant professor, Post-Baccalaureate Veterinary Medicine in Asia University, Taiwan. He is a veterinarian, biochemistry and computational biologists and has studies the thermostablility mechanisms and neurological diseases. In 2013, Dr. Li joined the technology company and be technique engineer that responsible for the Italy‘s DEParray machine to assemble, calibrate, test and do experiments to help customers’s sample to separate into the signal cell. This technique can widely be applied to cancer, stem cell and whole Genome Amplification (WGA) etc. In 2017, he returned to the school to be a assistant professor to teach and train the new veterinarian in the next generation.

Abstract

Life individuals are composed of very diverse and complex systems. Researchers use a variety of different experimental animals to develop various disease patterns to understand the mechanism and drug effects. Moreover, it can further understand the molecular mechanism at the cellular level, the signal cell, and hope to be able to interpret the causes of various genetic diseases, cancer and related diseases.
