Muse College’s Visit to Cheong Kun Lun College (CKLC) of University of Macau
Part One: Sharing Session
On arrival, students from Muse College received a warm welcome from CKLC.
Student representatives from CKLC gave a detailed introduction on their college system, mainly involving college features, and college life.
Part Two: Music Concert
At eight o’ clock in the evening, CKLC held a Gala Concert where students from both Colleges delivered various fantastic performances. Residential college was really an art place for students to display their talents and to make friends. Students also enjoyed the tea break provided by CKLC.
Part Three: Campus Tour
On the next morning, after breakfast, student leaders of CKLC led Muse College a campus tour. Since it was also the university open day, the campus was bustling with activity.
Blending Lingnan architecture elements with south European architecture flavor, the buildings of the university demonstrate the epitome of the combination of Chinese and Western cultures.
Part Four: Football Game
The campus tour was followed by a friendly football game. Players’ consummate skills and superb techniques won them standing ovation from time to time.
“The football match demonstrated Muse’s competence. Also, during the visit to University of Macau, I grew deeper understanding of Macau’s hang-out culture. I expect the next trip to Macau.”
YANG Baitong, freshman of 2017, School of Science and Engineering
“The trip was impressive. I stayed up late to chat with students from CKLC, engaged in activities on campus open day, and enjoyed the football friendly match. All in all, I spent a joyful weekend in university of Macau.”
SONG Leyi, freshman of 2017, School of Management and Economics
Held by CKLC, the Gala Concert and football game fostered a strong feeling of trust and friendship between the two colleges. Muse College and CKLC will continue to enhance cooperation and develop time-honored friendship!
Both colleges will keep focusing on in-depth residential college exchange and multifaceted communication in future.
Muse College, always with you.
