New Economic School Visited CUHK-Shenzhen

Prof. Shlomo Weber, Rector of New Economic School (NES) visited CUHK-Shenzhen on 19 March 2018. Prof. Jesús Seade, Associate Vice President for Global Affairs received the visitor. Paul Ke, Director of Academic Links and other colleagues attended the meeting. The aim of this visit is for two institutions to have discussion on starting the exchange programme and collaboration on the joint summer programme.

In the afternoon, a lecture about New Economic School, Russia and the Student Exchange Programme given by Prof. Weber was successfully held. Prof. Weber introduced NES’s various programmes, rankings and details of the Student Exchange Programme. Students showed great interests and asked various questions. Prof. Weber answered each student’s questions accordingly with details and encouragement.

CUHK-Shenzhen signed exchange programme agreements with New Economic School in November 2017. The first batch of students will participate in the exchange program in fall semester 2018.
